Privacy
This page explains how your personal data is handled on yalcinburak.com under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). The site handles very little data and keeps most of it nowhere.
Data controller
The data controller is Burak Yalçın. For anything about this notice or your data, you can reach him by e-mail.
The message card
When you leave a message, your name, e-mail address, message and the page's language are processed. They are used only to pass your message on to Burak and to send you a one-off confirmation.
The message goes through the e-mail service Resend (US) to Burak's mailbox; this site's server doesn't keep it. So that one address gets at most one confirmation a day, the server keeps only a keyed hash of your e-mail address in memory, for at most a day. Burak's mail provider keeps the mail on its own servers too. Burak deletes it once the conversation is over, within a year at the latest.
Each message sent leaves only this in the site's logs: when it was sent, from where (the chat, the contact form or the services page), in which language, how it went, whether the confirmation went out and how long it took; neither the message itself nor your details are logged.
Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Board has made no adequacy decision for the US. Data transferred there may not be protected as well as in Türkiye and may be open to access by US authorities; the explicit consent on the card is given knowing this.
Before it is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the sender is not a bot.
Legal basis: the explicit consent you give on the card (KVKK art. 5/1; art. 9 for the transfer abroad). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to Burak.

The chat
Each question you ask the assistant is sent, with the visible conversation, to Google's Gemini API (US) so the answer can be written. Under the free tier's terms Google may use this content to improve its services, so please don't share personal information in the chat.
Conversations are not stored or logged on this site. Each answer leaves only numbers and names behind: when it happened, which provider and model answered, the page's language, how it ended, which tools it used, when its first word came and how long it took, how many times the model was called, how many questions the conversation held, how many tokens it used, its estimated cost, which of the assistant's two layers answered and whether the question was passed on to the second.
Legal basis: a legitimate interest in answering what you ask (KVKK art. 5/2-f).

Technical data
The site is served through Cloudflare. While carrying the traffic and running Turnstile, Cloudflare sees your IP address and handles it under its own policy.
To prevent abuse, the site counts requests from the same address. It keeps a keyed hash of the address in memory for at most a day, never the address itself; no IP address is written to any record.
Legal basis: a legitimate interest in keeping the site safe and running (KVKK art. 5/2-f).

Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no cookies.
The browser's storage for this tab (sessionStorage) keeps the conversation, what you type in the message card, what you have typed but not sent yet, the day or night choice, the assistant window's state, which project you opened from the home page and the chat's random tab id. They are gone when the tab closes. Only the conversation and the tab id leave your browser, sent with each question; to prevent abuse, the server keeps the tab id only as a keyed hash, for at most a day.
Analytics
The site uses no analytics.
Your rights
Under article 11 of KVKK you may learn whether your data is processed, ask for information about it, learn why it is processed and whether it is used for that purpose, know who it is passed to in Türkiye or abroad, have it corrected if it is incomplete or wrong, have it erased or destroyed, have those you passed it to told about this, object to a result against you that comes only from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
To use them, write to Burak by e-mail; you'll get an answer free of charge within 30 days.
