A short tour
The project
Tazelenme University is an education programme for people over 60. TazelenmeApp brings its student records, course and classroom planning, attendance and materials into one system: coordinators use an admin panel, students a plain portal.
How it works
A Next.js front end, an API written in Express and TypeScript, and PostgreSQL through Prisma. Attendance is taken by hand or by tapping a card. It runs on Burak's own server with Docker Compose, behind Cloudflare Tunnel.
Highlights
- Student, course, classroom and session management for coordinators, with CSV import and export.
- Attendance by hand or by card, through an Android NFC reader or an RC522 on a Raspberry Pi.
- A plain portal for students that also works on a phone: courses, attendance and materials.
- Attendance reports, absence-risk notifications and role-based sign-in with JWT.
